Freezing cold while outside snows
So on the wooly blanket goes
Put on the socks and comfy frocks
Sweater, leather, let down the locks
Ten minutes time I start to whine
Because my gauge is out of line
A heat from deep below the skin
That travels fast and from within
A minute later just like a tater
Toasted, dripping, alligator
Hair goes up, blankets fluffed
To every corner throw the stuff
On it goes, shuffle the clothes
Hot then cold then other woes
Quick! On then off, don’t be too slow
