Apparently, I had a screw loose.

Big glassesAfter falling asleep and breaking my glasses, having the dr refuse to examine me because I wouldn’t consent to the air soft GUN glaucoma test and encountering various additional, yet hilarious, delays in obtaining my replacement glasses, I was granted a stay of execution on my glasses crises for a short period of time.

And then…

The other day, I was sitting here at my computer, minding my own 20/20 vision, when I felt something fall into my hand.  It was a teeny, tiny screw which looked curiously like one of those teeny, tiny screws you have in your eye glasses.

But NO!  It couldn’t be from my NEW glasses, could it?

Oh yes it COULD!

I took my glasses off and the left nose pad fell into my lap.  I was leaving the house in two minutes to take my son to the ice skating rink.  Could this overwhelmed and vision-challenged soul replace the screw with nose pad in tact in time to leave?

She could, indeed!

I grabbed my back up pair of glasses and threw them in my purse…just in case of an additional teeny, tiny screw up.

When I saw the headline about you having a screw loose, I was about to say, “What else is new?” LOLOL (as she runs and ducks. . . ) Then I thought I’d better read it. 😉 Good job on fixing it so quickly! I had one pair of glasses that the screws always fell out of no matter how you tightened them. I used to keep some in my purse just in case I lost one, plus the little screwdriver. Make sure you don’t lose those back-ups. . . ya know. . . just in case. . . 🙂

LOL Yup. I normally have a few screws loose. I was shocked that I could fix it so quickly, but mostly I was shocked that the screw fell right into my hand and I didn’t drop it and have it go missing. I don’t have any other screws so I need to go get a fix it kit.
